This also puts her in the highly sought-after category of weed seeds with an extremely high THC content. This Blue Zushi cultivar is the Dutch Passion version of the cross between a Kush Mints mother and an award-winning Zkittlez clone from parents in our own gene bank.

Blue Zushi is an easy to grow USA hybrid cross with a generous XL yield, very sticky buds and beautiful bag appeal

Blue Zushi is a hybrid Indica dominant cannabis seed variety that clearly shows a mix of both an Indica and a Sativa parent in appearance. Her leaf and bud structure really lies somewhere in between and clearly shows signs of both types of parent genetics.

In terms of flowering time, she has the speed and compactness of an Indica. However, in terms of leaf and bud structure, especially during bloom, you can see more signs of her Sativa origins. But fortunately, without becoming as fluffy as some pure Sativas. She can sometimes show slight foxtailing and a more elongated bud structure.

In general, you will see that all plants embrace this hybrid structure. During the vegetative phase you will see that she grows nice, compact and bushy. Sometimes with very large fan leaves, especially when grown naturally. During the cannabis flowering phase, the leaves become a bit slimmer & thinner and you can see more of her Sativa characteristics. The leaves can also darken during the flowering phase, showing red/purple hues (sometimes even black).

In general, the buds are green and completely covered in trichomes. Some phenotypes can also get purple hues in the flowers, which only makes the bag appeal of this strain even more special!

The buds become very white and sticky and even the small sugar leaves are bursting with trichomes. This also makes this strain ideal for making all kinds of cannabis concentrates such as dry-sift, bubble-hash or rosin. The blooms have a favorable flower-leaf ratio and are easy to manicure.

In general, Blue Zushi has 2 dominant phenotypes, both are equally tasty, intensely aromatic and delicious to smoke/vape. They also have almost the same fruity slightly sour smell and flavor profile with notes of lemon and citrus fruits. However, one phenotype has a more earthy background, while the other has a gassier profile. This American high-THC hitter is also extremely photogenic.

The plants have a beautifully inviting appearance, so make sure you control yourself and certainly do not harvest too early. Otherwise, you will miss out, because it is precisely in those last weeks in which the flowers of cannabis plants swell and that multitude of delicious trichomes completely cover the cannabis buds.

In addition to a high trichome density, she also has sturdy compact blooms, which is why you can usually expect an XL yield from Blue Zushi. This cannabis strain is also easy to grow. She also does well in relatively lower temperatures. The flowering time is about 8 to 9 weeks.

And because of all those thick, sturdy colas, harvesting is also a lot easier (although you will probably have to clean your scissors and fingers a bit more often during the process).

The genetics used for Blue Zushi guarantee the following properties:

  • A beautiful hybrid USA cross with relatively sturdy and compact blooms, a thick layer of trichomes and a penetrating aroma.
  • Blue Zushi is very potent and has a powerful terpene profile, her citrus-dominant profile is combined with more earthy and gassy notes, but all phenotypes you encounter are very tasty.
  • This is a cannabis strain available in feminised seeds with an easy growth pattern - very suitable for beginners. She can also be grown with almost all different growing methods.

Blue Zushi is an American inspired cultivar with a favourable flower to leaf ratio and beautiful bag appeal. Some plants can get pink and purple colours on leaves and buds and all flowers become very frosty and sticky.

Blue Zushi cannabis seeds flowering time

Blue Zushi does relatively well in colder temperatures. This makes her very suitable for indoor winter grows where the average temperature may be slightly lower than average compared to the rest of the year. The flowering time is about 8-9 weeks and the buds are very easy to manicure. There are phenotypes that are ready for harvest within 50-56 days but to achieve this you will need to have your climate perfectly in order.

For the average grower the flowering time will usually be around 60-65 days. Outdoors it is recommended to grow Blue Zushi only in the warmer Mediterranean areas, with lots of sunshine and higher average temperatures. A moderate, colder, but dry climate she can also be tolerated. But she absolutely does not like constant rain or waterlogged soil.

A climate with a lot of rainfall during the autumn/flowering period is therefore strongly discouraged. The only solution for growing in these areas would be to grow her in pots undercover (e.g. tarpaulin, greenhouse etc) with sufficient ventilation and/or a fan. Be careful during late flowering with excessively high humidity because she simply will not tolerate it!

Blue Zushi cannabis seeds average yield

Blue Zushi has an XL yield in combination with a short-to-average flowering time. The buds will grow nicely dense and are relatively compact. This together ensures the XL yields. This XL cultivar is also easy to grow and does not require any special growing techniques or cultivation methods to achieve a good end-result.

In an indoor grow, a yield of approximately 500g/m2 (0.9lb per square yard) is possible. In a SOG grow she also does excellently and can yield a little more and in the right hands end up at 550-600g/m2.

Outdoors, if grown in favorable sunny conditions, she will produce plants with a yield of approximately 1.1 - 1.6lb per plant. Especially when she is grown in large root bags with a lot of soil and organic nutrients.

She loves this, the more soil and sun at her disposal, the better the outcome! Outdoor cultivation in colder or rainy temperate climates is not recommended due to the increased risk of bud rot and mold. Growing in a greenhouse is an option, provided there is adequate ventilation and dehumidification where required.
